Step Away - Drug, alcohol and addiction treatment and rehabilitation centre - treats male and female adults over the age of 18 years.

Step Away Treatment Centre is one of very few rehabilitation centres in Port Elizabeth to treat female alcohol and drug abuse patients.

We have a holistic approach to alcohol and drug abuse treatment, addressing the client's mental, physical and spiritual needs. When more than one substance addiction is identified it is dealt with concurrently with the substance dependency.

Our alcoholism treatment program and drug addiction treatment program includes the services of an experienced psychiatrist, medical doctor, drug counseling psychologist, nursing sister, drug addiction and alcohol dependency recovery counselor, social worker, dietician, and occupational therapist.

Step Away - Port Elizabeth has one addiction treatment program on offer:

21 day treatment program

The 21-day alcohol and drug rehab program is intensive and focuses on the client who requires inpatient intervention and is specifically designed for those who need to return to work after a three week period.

Once you have completed our program, we will assess your overall progress. If we or yourself feel you may need to stay on for longer, your program will be extended.
